UNM-Victory Coalition ready to appoint ex-President Saakashvili as coalition's leader
The National Movement-Victory Coalition is ready to appoint ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili as the primary leader of the coalition, actively engaging in daily activities, announced Levan Khabeishvili, the Chair of the opposition United National Movement.
Khabeishvili emphasized that President Saakashvili was able to unite society and expedite Georgia’s aspirations to join the European Union.
“It is evident that President Saakashvili will play a pivotal role in overcoming challenges and countering Ivanishvili. His ability to unite society and propel Georgia towards European integration is well-known and proven. President Saakashvili can inspire the Georgian people and expedite their path to EU membership, as he has done before. His leadership qualities are widely acknowledged, versus Ivanishvili and his team.
The National Movement-Victory Coalition is fully prepared for President Saakashvili to assume a central role as the leader of this coalition, actively engaging in day-to-day operations,” Khabeishvili stated.
