UNM Tbilisi Organization Chair Urges President to release of Mikheil Saakashvili

We urge President Salome Zourabichvili to release Mikheil Saakashvili immediately, taking into account the will of his voters, stated Zaza Gogava, Chair of the Tbilisi organization of the United National Movement party.

“We urge President Salome Zourabichvili to release Mikheil Saakashvili [Georgia’s ex-president] immediately, taking into account the will of his voters. The United National Movement and its supporters have initiated the collection of signatures for the release of the third president of Georgia. We want to emphasize that this is a request for release, not a pardon. Today’s event marks a significant step, urging President Zurabishvili to grant Mikheil Saakashvili the right to continue the fight for Georgia’s freedom and a better future alongside his supporters,” he declared.
