“The ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party officially declared a war against the Georgian population on October 30. It seized future from people and legitimized victory to Putin,” said Nona Mamulashvili, a member of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) party.

According to Mamulashvili, Georgian people clearly demonstrated that they want changes.

“We see that the Georgian Dream does not intend to go and plans to usurp the power. We will apply all peaceful methods to remove these people and return them to Putin by the very first flight. All methods include rallies to discomfit the government and tell them that it is time for them to leave. No matter we call it a rebellion or protest we speak about the same thing.

Therefore, regardless of the GD’s efforts to force us to admit that we will use violent methods, we will not. I advise the Georgian Dream to come to common sense and decide which flight it will arrive in Moscow.

As Nika Melia (UNM Chair) said, this will be an uncompromised struggle, and we will use all methods admitted by the Constitution. Today, we will hold a protest and Nika Melia will announce the action plan,” Mamulashvili claimed.

Runoff municipal elections were held on October 30 in Georgia.
