“The Georgian Dream realizes that any concession is very dangerous for it. That’s why it rejects the negotiations,” Salome Samadashvili, a member of the United National Movement, echoed the statement by PM Irakli Garibashvili.
Samadashvili thinks that PM’s statement demonstrates the government’s will to end the talks without any result.
“The Georgian Dream did not want to end the talks with any outcome and overcome the political crisis. It is a rather remarkable statement for our Western partners. Both Washington and Brussels suggest that negotiations are the way out of this political crisis. It seems that the Georgian Dream realizes that any concession is very dangerous for it. That’s why they decided to cease the negotiation process,” the UNM member said.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili stated today that the ruling party would no more waste time on unproductive negotiations and plans to focus entirely on the problems of concern for people and the country.
