UNM Chair: We are ready to confront 'Russians' physically in parliament
“This country does not belong to any political party or political leader. This country belongs to you, Georgian people,” Chair of the opposition United National Movement party, Levan Khabeishvili, addressed the protest rally in front of the parliament.
Khabeishvili urged everyone to join the rally since Georgia’s European future is at risk.
“Georgian people should know very well that this country is yours. It is your battle, each of you, especially the youth. This country does not belong to anyone except the Georgian people. Our European future, our country is under threat… The Putinist law is now being debated. We are ready to confront these Russians physically in the parliament,” Khabeishvili said.
MPs are debating the People’s Power-tabled draft bills on Transparency of Foreign Influence and Registration of Foreign Agents at the plenary.
