UNM Chair views participation in Democracy Festival as symbolic

“We participate in Democracy Festival in Tsalenjikha to win together with the Samegrelo region’s locals and entire Georgia and rescue the country’s Euro-Atlantic future,” said Tina Bokuchava, Chair of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) party.

According to Tina Bokuchava, participation in the Democracy Festival is symbolic.

“We can achieve everything with unity and I am sure, with this unity we will win over confrontation preached by Ivanishvili (GD Founder and Honorable Chair) and his party members. Holding the Democracy Festival in Tsalenjikha, Samegrelo is symbolic when the country needs unity. While Ivanishvili’s party preaches confrontation, we see that with unity, representatives of different opposition parties united, stand with people, Georgian citizens and speak about how to rescue democracy and the country’s Euro-Atlantic course,” she said.
