UNM Chair: US is very focused on October 26 election, which should determine Georgia's Euro-Atlantic fate
Tina Bokuchava, Chairperson of the United National Movement, emphasized the importance of the upcoming October 26 elections for Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic future and relations with the United States. She noted that recent US Senate hearings reflect America’s strong focus on these elections.
“The influential senators, such as Senator Risch, stressed the need for Georgia to elect a government accountable to its people. The election is seen as a key opportunity to restore Georgia’s ties with the US and advance its European integration, unlocking access to €14 billion in EU funds for infrastructure, social services, and education,” Bokuchava stated.
