UNM Chair says Victory Platform centres around ex-president Saakashvili

“Victory Platform was formed around ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili, and he will play a central role in defeating Bidzina Ivanishvili (founder of the Georgian Dream party),” said Levan Khabeishvili, Chair of the United National Movement (UNM) party.

According to Levan Khabeishvili, the coalition of the UNM and Strategy Aghmashenebeli parties together with other political leaders, will jointly “beat the Russian party [Georgian Dream party] in the elections.”

“I want to tell you about the goals that we have. We promise to the population, our pensioners, that pension loans will be annulled to approximately 400 thousand people. We say that pupils should have free meals, and while Bidzina Ivanishvili steals about 10 billion GEL from people for his crypto mining, utility costs will return to their initial figures. Our goal is to serve people,” he said.

Victory Platform was established several days ago with the unification of the United National Movement (UNM) and Strategy Aghmashenebeli parties.
