Tina Bokuchava, a leader of Unity – National Movement, stated that opposition representatives conveyed to the diplomatic corps that ongoing protest rallies are essential to their strategy.
According to Bokuchava, at the meeting with embassy representatives, opposition leaders presented evidence of election fraud and underscored their unified stance.
“The opposition remains resolute in boycotting parliamentary participation and aims to mobilize continuous, purposeful protests involving citizens who previously demonstrated against the ‘Russian law’ in pursuit of Georgia’s EU candidate status,” she added.
Leaders from the opposition unions Coalition for Change, Strong Georgia, and Unity – National Movement met with the embassies’ representatives at the Strong Georgia central office to discuss current political developments. The representatives from Gakharia – For Georgia did not attend the meeting.
