Under Secretary Uzra Zeya: Human rights defenders, civil society play crucial role in supporting Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic path

Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights, Uzra Zeya on Thursday met with human rights defenders and civil society in Georgia.

Following the meeting, she said, “Grateful to meet with human rights defenders and civil society, who play a crucial role in supporting Georgia’s democratic and Euro-Atlantic path. The United States urges respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms for all.”
