Ukrainian refugees in Georgia get humanitarian aid 

Ukrainian refugees in Georgia will get humanitarian relief after a charitable organization, Rotary  International, collected 11,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid costing 25,000 euros.

The first aid batch, weighing 5 tonnes, arrived in Batumi. Today, the second batch, carrying 6 tonnes of food and hygiene products, landed at the Tbilisi Trinity Cathedral, Andrey Kasyanov, Temporary Representative of Ukraine’s Embassy in Georgia told media outlets.

Kasyanov thanked the Georgian Patriarchate “for providing premises for the storage of these important humanitarian assistance.”

“It is an important and responsible day for us, the day when the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia, in close collaboration with Rotary International, an non-governmental international charity organisation, did everything possible to meet the needs of Ukrainian citizens who are forced to stay in Georgia due to Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine,” Ukraine Charge d’affaires stated.
