Ukraine's Zelenskyy congratulates Georgian President on Independence Day

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy sent a congratulatory letter to the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, on Georgia’s Independence Day.

“On behalf of the Ukrainian people and myself, I sincerely congratulate you on the Independence Day of Georgia. The relationship between our people is based on mutual support and respect. This is especially important in terms of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.

Our state has always consistently supported and will support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia within its internationally recognized borders.

I am convinced that Ukrainian and Georgian people de-occupy their territories, returning fair peace to Ukraine and Georgia and security to the Black Sea region.

I wish you, dear Madam President, good health and success in your public activities and the Georgian people – peace, welfare and prosperity!” the President of Ukraine said.
