Ukraine’s Education Minister grateful to Georgia for support of Ukrainian children
Ukraine’s Education Minister, Serhiy Shkarlet expressed gratitude to Georgia for support of the Ukrainian children.
“This is the biggest, strong support to Ukraine being in a war. Over 100 countries opened Ukrainian classes and allocated education spaces for our children, and this is very important for all Ukrainians.
We should keep on this strategy not to interrupt the learning process. Our pupils should have the opportunity to receive education for their future. Thanks a lot to the Georgian people, entire Georgia, our friends for this significant and strong support,” he said.
At the decision of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Ukrainian sectors opened at Tbilisi #41 and Batumi #20 Public Schools. Over 1 thousand Ukrainian pupils are enrolled through the facilitated rule at Georgian schools both in Tbilisi and different regions.
