U.S. President signs 2023 budget

U.S. President Joe Biden signed the 2023 budget on USD 1.66 trillion government funding that also provides more assistance for Ukraine’s defense in the amount of USD 45 billion and not less than USD 132,025,000 for Georgia.

Senator Lindsey Graham from the Republican Party proposed an amendment to the bill which would allow seizing assets from Russian oligarchs and transferring them to Ukraine; it was accepted and added to the document.

Previously, the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives approved the budget.
