U.S. Mission to OSCE deplores Russia's ongoing occupation of Georgia's regions

The U.S. Mission to OSCE said that it deplores Russia’s ongoing occupation of Georgia’s regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia and fully supports Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.

“We deplore Russia’s ongoing occupation of Georgia’s regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Russia’s occupation of these Georgian regions, like its war of aggression against Ukraine, violates its international obligations and contravenes its OSCE commitments. We fully support Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders,” reads the statement.
