Two people die in elevator pit

Two people, a husband and a wife died in an elevator pit in Vazisubani district of Tbilisi.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), a man called the elevator but fell in the pit when he stepped inside the cabin.

His wife attempted to help him when the elevator restarted work and killed her at the accident site. The dead bodies are transferred to the forensic bureau for expertise.
