“Two more persons have been detained for covering up the crime regarding Saakashvili’s case,” prosecutor Levan Vepkhvadze told Georgian First Channel on Monday.
“How they helped wanted ex-president will be known today,” said the prosecutor, adding that the investigation is aware of Saakashvili’s route from Ukraine to Georgia in detail.
Earlier, Prosecutor’s Office charged Elguja Tsomaia, a flat owner where Mikheil Saakashvili was hiding before being arrested.
Law enforcers arrested Mikheil Saakashvili in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi on October 1. He is charged with several criminal offences.
