Two citizens of Iran detained for illegal border crossing of Georgia
Officers of the Patrol Police Department of the Internal Affairs Ministry of Georgia detained two citizens of Iran at Tbilisi International Airport.
M.Sh.(DoB 1990) and N.S.(DoB 1980) were detained on the fact of having attempted to cross the state border illegally.
According to MIA, an investigation established that M.Sh. was trying to cross the border illegally with a fake passport of Turkish citizen while N.S. attempted to enter with a fake passport of Czech citizen.
The investigation is in progress under part I, article 19-344 of the Criminal Code of Georgia and part I, article 362 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
