Tsurtsumia and Gobadze to compete in semifinals of World Wrestling Championship

Two Georgian judo wrestlers in Greco-Roman style will compete in the semifinals of 2019 World Wrestling Championship in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.

Georgian judo wrestler Nugzar Tsurtsumia (55 kg.) defeated Russian rival in the quarter-finals and will face Japanese wrestler Shota Ogawa in the semifinals. The second Georgian wrestler Lasha Gobadze (82kg) defeated a Chinese athlete in the quarter-finals and will face Nurbek Khashimbekov from Uzbekistan in the semifinals.

The semifinals will start at 16:00 Tbilisi time.
