Movement of motorcars will be temporarily restricted on May 23 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Freedom Square in connection with the preparation for the festive activities of May 26, Independence Day of Georgia.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the Patrol Police will coordinate the safety of traffic flows and direct the drivers to alternative routes.
The MIA announced the imposition of traffic restrictions at Freedom Square, Rustaveli Avenue, and First Republic Square in Tbilisi for Independence Day. The ministry said the restrictions would fully lift from May 27.
