Traffic restrictions on Republic Square for public screening of Ukraine-Georgia football match
A large screen will be installed for Georgian fans on October 11 at Republic Square, organized by Tbilisi City Hall and the Georgian Football Federation, to facilitate a public screening of the Ukraine-Georgia football match.
According to Tbilisi City Hall, traffic will be prohibited in the area. This restriction will be in effect from 3 p.m. on October 10 until 2 p.m. on October 12, covering the road section from the intersection of Rustaveli Avenue and Republic Square to the intersection of Republic Square and Merab Kostava Street.
Vehicles driving from Rustaveli Avenue toward Kostava Street will only be permitted to turn onto Mikheil Javakhishvili and Merab Kostava Streets.
Vehicles on Javakhishvili Street will be redirected toward the Tbilisi State Concert Hall, while those on Kostava Street will only be allowed to proceed to Rustaveli Avenue and Liberty Square.
For public transport, the N359 bus will operate from Javakhishvili Street to Kostava Street toward Vake, before returning to its regular schedule. The N457 minibus, which heads to Besik Street, will detour from Javakhishvili Street to Revaz Tabukashvili Street, connecting to Rustaveli Avenue via Revaz Laghidze Street, and then continue as per the established timetable.
Additionally, after the match, several municipal buses will operate for an extended period to accommodate fans at Republic Square. Buses N301, N306, N308, N309, N310, N314, N326, N331, N337, N342, N345, N352, N358, N359, N364, N388, N391, and N397 will run until 2:00 a.m. on October 12. The Tbilisi Metro will also remain operational until late.
The UEFA Nations League group stage match will take place on October 11 in Poznan, kicking off at 10:45 p.m. Tbilisi time.
