Traffic restrictions for Georgia-Ukraine football match screening at Republic Square
On November 16th, Tbilisi City Hall and the Georgian Football Federation will install a large screen at First Republic Square for Georgian fans to enjoy the public viewing of the Georgia-Ukraine football match.
According to Tbilisi City Hall, vehicle traffic will be restricted in the designated area.
The restrictions will be in effect from 15:00 on November 15th until 14:00 on November 17th, covering the road section from the intersection of Rustaveli Avenue and First Republic Square to the junction of Republic Square and Merab Kostava Street.
Vehicles moving from Rustaveli Avenue toward Kostava Street will be able to return to Rustaveli Avenue after turning at the Olive Tree, and can also proceed toward Mikheil Javakhishvili and Merab Kostava Streets.
Vehicles from Javakhishvili Street will be directed toward the Tbilisi State Concert Hall, while those from Kostava Street can travel toward Rustaveli Avenue and Freedom Square, or reconnect with Kostava Street after turning at the Olive Tree.
Regarding public transport, bus #359 heading to Vake will reroute from Javakhishvili Street via Kostava Street before resuming its regular route. Minibus #457 travelling toward Besiki Street will redirect from Javakhishvili Street to Revaz Tabukashvili Street, connect to Rustaveli Avenue via Revaz Laghidze Street, and then continue on its established route.
The UEFA Nations League group stage match will take place at the Adjarabet Arena in Batumi on November 16th at 21:00.
