Tinatin Berdzenishvili to serve as Acting GPB General Director

Tinatin Berdzenishvili, First Deputy General Director of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) will serve as Acting General Director of GPB.

A competition for the vacant position of GPB General Director will be announced later today. As Tinatin Berdzenishvili said, all procedures will continue in accordance with the law.

“We will keep on our strategic goals and objectives. The new television season is coming and everything is ready. I would like to say that until a new general director is elected, the broadcaster will retain its status quo, and we will meet the new general director with with the situation that we have today,” Tinatin Berdzenishvili said.

Vasil Maghlaperidze has quit post of General Director of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) today.
