The headquarters of former Belarusian presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya has published the plan to form an interim government, reported Interfax.
“An interim government will be formed, the 1994 constitution will be restored, and conditions will be created for free and fair elections,” said Tikhanovskaya’s HQ.
125 protesters have been detained today in Minsk for participating in the unauthorized rally, said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.
Despite the heavy security, tens of thousands joined the protest, reports Belarusian media. Some protesters lie face down on the asphalt in the centre of Minsk.
Demonstrations in Minsk has been underway for more than 20 days. The protesters are demanding President Lukashenko’s removal.
