Three UNM members of Rustavi City Council quit faction, party

Three members of the Rustavi City Council from the United National Movement (UNM), Aleksandre Beridze, the first deputy chair of the Rustavi City Council, Vazha Morgoshia, the chairman of the Spatial Planning and Infrastructure Commission of the Rustavi City Council, and Zurab Beradze, the UNM faction Chair have left the party.

As Vazha Morgoshia explained, “Tinatin Lotsulashvili, the majority deputy of the Rustavi City Council, spread false information about the football stadium located in the 19th district, and based on this, she and her associates attempted to mislead the party leadership, making unsubstantiated accusations against the faction’s chairman. We disclaim any responsibility for the false information and behaviour of these people and quit the faction and the party.”
