MPs Sozar Subari, Mikheil Kavelashvili and Dimitri Khundadze have left the Georgian Dream faction, party and their parliamentary posts, GD faction chair Mamuka Mdinaradze announced at a briefing.
“They believe more backstage information about political facts and events should be disseminated. Following the debate, they decided they needed a free parliamentary mandate to voice their opinion while avoiding any inconvenience to the rest of the team,” Mdinaradze said.
Three MPs keep their seats in the Parliament.
