The SSSG presented information on recent developments in Occupied Abkhazia
The representatives of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG) has presented information on recent developments in occupied Abkhazia at the united sitting of Foreign Affairs committee and temporary commission related to restoration of territorial integrity of Georgia and de-occupation issues of the Parliament of Georgia earlier today.
As the SSSG’s Press Office says, during the meeting, it has been noted, that “developments taking place in occupied Abkhazia are important for the State Security Service of Georgia, in particular, when it comes to deterioration of current security environment on the ground.”
“It has been underlined unequivocally by the SSSG, that so-called political processes taking place in occupied Abkhazia are illegitimate under conditions of occupation. Within the scope of the meeting, the current security situation in occupied territories and along the occupation line has also been discussed with emphasis on the significance of a stable security environment,” Press Office reports.
