Tea Tsulukiani: We should present evidences that Russia was preparing for war much earlier than August events
According to the Minister of Justice Tea Tsulukiani, the Georgian government is trying to provide the European Court with the additional evidences that confirm that Russia was preparing for war operations much earlier than the August war.
Tea Tsulukiani made the regarding statement during the First Channel’s program “42 ° parallel”.
“Russia really does say that August War is not a human rights issue, it is rather a sphere of humanitarian law, which we oppose with firm arguments. We say that during the period of military operations, Russia carried out such actions at the territory of our country in the Tskhinvali region, which were far beyond the needs of the military operations. The Georgian government is trying to provide the European Court with the additional evidences that confirm that Russia was preparing for war operations much earlier than the August war”, – Tsulukiani said.
