Tbilisi Patrol Police urges public to avoid private vehicles on October 23

The Tbilisi Patrol Police have issued a statement advising citizens to refrain from using private vehicles on October 23 due to expected heavy traffic resulting from the final pre-election event organized by the Georgian Dream party.

“Vehicle movement will be restricted on certain streets for a specified duration to accommodate the large-scale gathering, which is expected to draw attendees from both Tbilisi and surrounding regions.

To ensure public safety and maintain orderly traffic, the Patrol Police Department will deploy personnel at the event site and its vicinity.

Traffic restrictions will begin at midnight on October 23 and remain in effect until the event concludes. Normal traffic flow is anticipated to resume afterwards,” the Patrol Police stated.
