Tbilisi Mayor: Saakashvili be released after completing confinement
The situation in Ukraine is dire. If Saakashvili is their priority, it’s their decision. Saakashvili will be released after serving his sentence, the Tbilisi Mayor, Kakha Kaladze, remarked when commenting on the statement by Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the administration of the President of Ukraine, who stated that “Saakashvili’s fate is a priority for us. Ukraine is interested in Saakashvili being free.”
Kaladze emphasized that each country has its priorities, and while he cannot delve into the specifics of Ukraine’s priorities, he wishes for peace in the country.
“Every country has its priorities, and while I can not delve into details regarding Ukraine’s priorities, I wish peace for the country. The situation in Ukraine is grave, with destroyed infrastructure and numerous casualties. If Saakashvili is their priority, it’s their decision. Saakashvili is serving a sentence for specific crimes and will be released upon completing his sentence,” Kaladze stated.
