Tbilisi Mayor: Fans can watch Georgia vs Greece football match at Republic Square
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze congratulated the Georgian national team on yesterday’s victory and reaching the final. He expressed his appreciation in a video on social media.
He thanked the fans for their unwavering support and passion for Georgian sports.
“First and foremost, I extend my congratulations to the Georgian national team and our fans on yesterday’s remarkable victory. Despite the rain, many gathered both at the stadium and in front of the big screen to watch the game. This demonstrates the deep-rooted love for Georgian sports. Fans like you are the heart and soul of the game. Your support uplifts our athletes and gives meaning to sports. Thank you for your dedication and love for Georgian sports.
Now, we are just one step away from reaching the European Championship. The final will take place on March 26 at the Dinamo Arena at 9:00 PM, where our team will face the Greek national team,” Kakha Kaladze announced.
He also mentioned that ticket sales for the Georgia-Greece match will commence on March 23. For those unable to secure tickets, the Tbilisi City Hall will arrange a special area with a big screen at the First Republic Square.
“It will be a challenging and intense match, but we must seize this opportunity. Additionally, public transportation will operate until 2:00 AM to ensure fans returning from Dinamo Arena and the First Republic Square can reach home,” stated the mayor of Tbilisi.
