Tbilisi Mayor awarded special medal for contribution to Georgia-Azerbaijan relations

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze has been awarded a special medal for contribution to Georgia-Azerbaijan relations in connection with the 100th anniversary of Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Dursun Hasanov, Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Georgia gave the medal to Tbilisi Mayor.

“The government of Azerbaijan, Azeri people and youngsters have always appreciated Kaladze’s achievements. Being Tbilisi Mayor, Kaladze continues close cooperation and friendship with Azerbaijan,” Hasanov said.

Tbilisi Mayor thanked the Azerbaijani government and president for the award. “Azerbaijan is our partner state and these relations have to be nurtured,” Kaladze said.

Mahir Mamedov, General Director of SOCAR Energy Georgia attended the meeting.
