Tbilisi International Marathon ended

The 8th Tbilisi Marathon, organized by HeidelbergCement, has been held in the central streets of Tbilisi.
The marathon started at Rustaveli Avenue. The route included historical streets of the capital. The traffic roads leading to the central streets have been blocked due to the event.
Tbilisi Marathon included several races: Half Marathon and 10k Run for women and men and Kids’ Run.
The winner of the 10 km race among women was Alexandra Zeben, among men – Giorgi Shekriladze. The half marathon race was won by Irina Lapitskaia from Belarus and Ismail Seniang from Uganda.
The funds raised from the registration will be doubled by HeidelbergCement and transferred for the rehabilitation of Dzegvi Shelter.
