Tbilisi City Hall implements traffic restrictions for Tbilisi Marathon 2024

Tbilisi City Hall has announced traffic restrictions on several streets in the capital in connection with the Tbilisi Marathon 2024, scheduled for Sunday, September 22.

The restrictions will take effect during the night, starting at midnight on September 21, in preparation for the event at First Republic Square, Shota Rustaveli Avenue, and Merab Kostava Street.

Traffic will be prohibited from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. on September 22 at Freedom Square, Rustaveli Avenue, First Republic Square, Javakhishvili Street, Marjanishvili Street, Aghmashenebeli Avenue, Tsinamdzghvrishvili Street, Zaarbriukeni Square, the right riverbank of the Mtkvari, and surrounding streets.

The Tbilisi City Hall also stated that public transport routes will be temporarily modified during this time.
