Tamar Kordzaia rejects election results and will not join parliament
Tamar Kordzaia, a member of the Unity-National Movement, announced that she will not enter the new parliament, deeming the October 26 election results illegitimate.
Kordzaia emphasized that the opposition does not recognize the outcome, stating, “This means that I am not entering parliament.”
She noted that future actions will depend on ongoing developments, and the public will be kept informed.
“How can the entire nation— our President, opposition parties, and society— be united against the Georgian Dream, yet only the Georgian Dream claims to be right? A one-party parliament signifies a lack of democracy in this country,” she added.
