Strong Georgia leaders visit Gori garbage dump to address local concerns
Leaders of the Strong Georgia coalition met with residents of Gori in the Shida Kartli region as part of their regional pre-election campaign tour, where they outlined their election plans.
During their visit, representatives from Strong Georgia toured the Gori garbage dump, located near the settlement and river, which has posed environmental challenges for residents for many years.
The citizens of Gori expressed their primary concerns regarding the social situation, as well as issues of corruption and nepotism within the local government.
“The leaders of Strong Georgia emphasized that their main electoral objective is Georgia’s integration into Europe, along with the adoption of European standards. This, they believe, will foster rapid development that aligns with the interests of local residents,” stated the coalition’s press service.
