Strong Georgia leader encourages public sector workers: Embrace change, political retribution is over
Mamuka Khazaradze, leader of the Strong Georgia coalition, has urged citizens—including soldiers, police officers, teachers, and public sector workers—to vote in the upcoming elections on October 26 without fear of retribution.
He emphasized that the era of political revenge has ended and reassured public sector employees that their political choices would not jeopardize their career prospects.
Khazaradze noted that a majority of voters no longer support the ruling Georgian Dream party, and he anticipates that the election results, coupled with transparent vote counting, will accurately reflect this shift.
He called upon all political parties to uphold dignity during the election period and to ensure the safety of the public.
“On behalf of all the leaders of the Strong Georgia coalition, I urge our members and supporters to lead by example through respectful and responsible behaviour. We also issue a clear warning to the Georgian Dream—any attempts to manipulate votes or intimidate voters will not be tolerated, and we will take decisive action against such efforts. The election results must reflect the true will of the Georgian people and be recognized by the international community.
Finally, our message to voters is clear: don’t stay at home! Go to the polls! Your vote is vital to this election, and much hinges on it. Regardless of which party you support, please engage in this critical process for our nation. Vote with a sense of responsibility for your family and future. The future of Georgia lies in your hands!” he declared.
