Strong Georgia Leader: Elections were illegitimate; international community will not legitimize them

Leader of Strong Georgia, Mamuka Khazaradze, stated that the recent elections were illegitimate and that international recognition is neither possible nor forthcoming.

Following an informative meeting with international partners, Khazaradze emphasized the coalition’s commitment to providing evidence of violations.

“Our international partners left with a clear understanding of our position and the issues surrounding these elections,” he said, noting the importance of keeping global allies informed and engaged.

Khazaradze added that the coalition plans to share further information with international representatives in the coming days.

Leaders from the opposition unions Coalition for Change, Strong Georgia, and Unity – National Movement met with the embassies’ representatives at the Strong Georgia central office to discuss current political developments. The representatives from Gakharia – For Georgia did not attend the meeting.
