Strong Georgia leader advocates for civil disobedience to demand new elections
Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of the Strong Georgia coalition, has called for civil disobedience in response to what he characterizes as the deprivation of rights and the lack of fair trials in Georgia.
In a post on social media, Khazaradze highlighted the necessity of unity and various forms of protest to restore citizens’ rights and advocate for new elections.
“Victory is achieved through the relentless pursuit of our goals, willpower, and diverse protests across institutions, both public and private sectors, as well as in public spaces. Civil disobedience is a fundamental constitutional right. Together, we can confront injustice and fraud, reclaiming the rights that have been stripped from us. Our European choice is, indeed, a national choice,” he declared.
