Giorgi Vashadze, one of the Victory Coalition leaders and the Strategy Agmashenebeli party chair, recently engaged with young people, highlighting the pressing issue of low wages in Georgia.
Vashadze emphasized that the prevalence of low wages stands as the foremost challenge in the country today, alongside unemployment. Referring to official statistics, he pointed out alarming figures, revealing that a significant portion of the population earns wages below subsistence levels.
“With over half a million individuals effectively facing unemployment because of inadequate wages,” Vashadze underscored.
