Strategy Aghmashenebeli: Better sit down and agree than talk too much
Giorgi Vashadze, leader of the opposition Strategy Aghmashenebeli party, said that the Georgian political crisis could not last forever. It has to be timely resolved.
“Everybody should be eager to move towards an agreement. The Georgian public urges for that,” Vashadze claimed.
He said he would try to persuade the opposition parties to be more compromise-oriented and evaluate the actual situation objectively.
“It is better to sit down and agree than talk too much. The agreement should reflect all five points. No single point should be dropped. All the five issues must be agreed,” Vashadze claimed.
Parliament Speaker Archil Talakvadze said that Strategy Aghmashenebeli leader and his colleagues, who think that destruction of state institutes is not the opposition’s victory, have to make bold steps.
