10 years have passed since the recognition of occupied Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

The government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia released a special statement regarding this day.

We address Aphkhazian friends, please watch carefully current events, we know that this recognition does not have any international legal base.

On the contrary, this is the violation of international norms, that does not much meet the interests of Abkhazians because Russia ignores the agreement made in 2008 and built military springboard in the region – the statement reads.
