SSG, in partnership with US relevant services and Prosecutor's Office, detains US citizen

The State Security Service of Georgia (SSG), in partnership with the US relevant services and cooperation with the General Prosecutor’s Office, detained a US citizen during a special raid in Batumi, Adjara.

The citizen was wanted by the Idaho State for a grave crime committed against an underage.

Electronic devices, computers and other equipment were confiscated from the detainee’s apartment as evidence.

The SSG carries out procedures for the detained individual’s extradition to the US.
