SSG Head meets Azerbaijani Ambassador

The Head of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSG), Anri Okhanashvili, met with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia, Faig Guliyev. The First Deputy Head of the State Security Service, Irakli Beraia, attended the meeting.

The parties discussed the main directions of cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan.

They spoke about the security environment in the region, as well as the threats and challenges facing the two countries.

At the meeting, Anri Okhanashvili and Faig Guliyev emphasized the importance of strong cooperation between the security services of the two countries.

The Azerbaijani Ambassador congratulated the Head of the State Security Service on his appointment to the position and wished him success in his future activities.
