Speaker: Struggle against aggression not absolve Ukrainian government from protecting criminals
“The heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people against aggression does not absolve its government from the responsibility of protecting criminals,” said Georgian Parliament Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili.
Shalva Papuashvili remarked on the meetings held by Zurab Adeishvili (wanted Georgia’s former Prosecutor General) in German Bundestag and EU legislative and executive structures.
“Portraying the political relationship with criminals as normal is against the common values of the Georgian people and the European Union. The heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people against aggression does not absolve its authorities from the responsibility of protecting criminals,” the Speaker wrote on Facebook.
