Speaker: Radical opposition's reaction to foreign funding ban for TVs suggests their parties may have received foreign support
“The radical opposition’s reaction to the ban on foreign funding for television stations suggests that their parties may have also been benefiting from such foreign support,” the Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, wrote on his Facebook page.
Papuashvili emphasized the importance of clarifying this issue.
“To date, it has not been publicly stated that the party propaganda tools of Gvaramia, Khazaradze, and Kezerashvili were funded by foreign entities. Therefore, it is crucial to clarify this matter. If this is confirmed, it would serve as further evidence of illegal external interference in Georgia’s parliamentary elections,” the Speaker wrote.
