Speaker Papuashvili, EU Commissioner for Justice discuss Georgia’s commitments on democracy, rule of law, justice reform

EU Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders, said Wednesday he had a “fruitful” meeting with the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili.

In his Tweet, EU Commissioner said the parties reviewed Georgia’s commitments on democracy, rule of law, and justice reform.

“We also discussed support for Georgia’s sovereignty and resilience in the difficult geopolitical context of the Russian war,” Didier Reynders underscored.
