Speaker meets PABSEC Secretary General

Parliament Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili held a meeting with the PABSEC Secretary General, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev.

As Asaf Hajiyev noted, the Delegation of Georgia plays a key role in the PABSEC activity. He expressed his gratitude to the Georgian Parliament for hosting the 63rd sitting of the PABSEC Committee for Legal Affairs & International Cooperation.

He overviewed the agenda of the sitting of the General Assembly scheduled in May. Shalva Papuashvili highlighted that PABSEC is an effective regional dialogue and cooperation platform.

The parties underlined the increasing significance of the middle corridor and the necessity of its further development.

The Head of the Parliamentary Delegation to PABSEC, Irakli Mezurnishvili and the Delegation member, Ramaz Nikolaishvili attended the meeting.
