Speaker: Home invasions are not activism but fascism, encouraged by visiting European politicians

“Home invasions are not activism; this is fascism encouraged by the irresponsible calls of European politicians who visited these days,” writes Shalva Papuashvili, Chairman of the Georgian Parliament, on his Facebook page.

Papuashvili shared a media report stating that “activists are protesting the stolen elections at Kalandarishvili’s (CEC Chairman) house.”

“Breaking into homes is not activism in any form. This is outright fascism, encouraged by the irresponsible rhetoric of European politicians who visit Tbilisi these days. These fascist armbands, now transformed into black stains, will remain as such in our people’s memory,” Papuashvili stated.
