“Recently published stats of the first five months of 2024 indicate a notable 9,3% economic growth of Georgia,” the Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili wrote on the social network.

“Georgia continues its solid economic performance, recording the highest economic growth among the European Union candidate countries and the EU itself. Georgia also ranks the highest among the EU candidate countries in the Rule of Law Index by the WJP and in the Corruption Perception Index. Building democratic and functioning institutions and increasing citizens’ prosperity are what matter to the Georgian Government. Facts say it all – Georgia leads in both dimensions,” he added.
